Can anyone please tell me where any rock/metal bars/nights are and when there on!

hey black_soul - if you want rock/metal then corporation is the place to go. it f***in rocks! its on milton street - down from division street in town. monday nights are very cheap and cheerful - 50p for vodka + mixer! friday nights are also good. and saturday night is a bit heavier. hope that helps.

Classic Rock Bar - Sheffield's only dedicated pub to rock music. Live music by rock bands nightly and a rock disco with top rock DJs playing good old rock over the last three decades.

Bottom of Ecclesall Rd, next to the Shell petrol station.

The *only* pub? What about The Dove & Rainbow, The Nelson, The Sportsman?

Ok they might not promote themselves exclusively as 'rock' places but they certainly are.

The more the merrier I say! Went in The Nelson on Saturday, thought it was ok, though didn't get round to trying the very tempting (and cheap!) cocktails. Bohemian Raspberry, anyone?

I believe most DIY places sell metal bars :D :lol:

What's on at the Classic Rock Bar?

So far we have 52 bands booked for April! Watch out for the Air Guitar Competition on April Fools Day and the Bank Holiday Monday all day Open Mic session. We'll be donating 10% of whatever the bar takes that day and night to Sheffield Children's Hospital so come down and play a tune or listen to the talent on the carpet!
