We at No Uniform have always being looking at how we can bring something special to the city. With our monthly events at the Harley and two hosted at DQ, as well as hosting a room at the last Soup Kitchen. So now is time that we brought you something very special. Alongside a couple of other collaborations later in the year, we host a huge event in the Neutral room at Plug.
This venue holds a very special place in our heart, as when we first started going clubbing in Sheffield it was the home of some of the finest nights around in its previous guise .Zero, as well as its current one. For this event we have gone all out and brought you one of the biggest line-ups Sheffield has seen.
There are few words needed to introduce JAMES BLAKE. Originally releasing his first 12” on Hemlock recordings, his rise to prominence was very quick, with Gilles Peterson giving it regular airplay.
Following this he released a second 12”, which would feature 'CYMK' on the excellent R&S records. It was upon the release of 'Limit to my Love' that James Blake was really pushed to the forefront. The release of his debut self-titled album earlier this year, which has already gained a nomination for the Mercury Music Prize, has made him one of the most sought after artists this year!

Alongside him we have recent Ninja Tune signee STARKEY. PJ Geissinger aka Starkey is blessed with musical arrangement skill's that would leave most composers green faced with envy. This combined with his high production ethic makes him a formidable force not only in the underground but also as a super producer of the future. If you like grime, dubstep, hip hop and all things "street bass" then Starkey's hard edged spaced out crunk is the sound for you.
Move over Timbaland, Dre and Swizz beats, the future is set to be bright for Starkey!!

In pretty much any other line-up BLAWAN would be no where near this low, especially after the fact he has had releases on R&S and Hessle Audio. We have had him on once before and for anyone who experienced his set, they will tell you how talented this guy is. Originally hailing from South Yorkshire, before migrating to London. We had been listening to his tracks for a while, but it was upon the release of 'Bringing me Down' that our ears really pricked up to attention.

This line-up is something special and really are pretty proud to be bringing it to the city!
£9 earlybird, £12 adv more on the door!
Move quickly, we expect this to sell out.
