View Full Version : Brat Camp elf 17-03-2004, 07:45 Just wondering if anyone has been watching Brat Camp on Tuesdays? FairyNormal 17-03-2004, 13:19 I watched it last night and came to the conclusion that most of them need a good slap!!! Baldyshef 17-03-2004, 16:11 If I had been there, both of those two girls who were messing around in last nights program would have found themselves being buried alive in the middle of that desert. mega_monty 19-03-2004, 23:25 I think they were too soft on them....... the two girls, I would have either just left them where they sat to rot and get eaten by wild animals or physically dragged them along the ground until they were that sore they would have to get up. kittykat 19-03-2004, 23:56 Yes i watch it. It will be interesting to see what theyre like at the end of it. I think theyll change but only to get home, then theyll be back to being awful again. Rich 20-03-2004, 13:29 Yeah, bring back John "God of British comedy" Cleese as THE most hilarious Hotelier Basily Fawlty in Fawlty Towers! That show ROCKS in my opinion. kittykat 20-03-2004, 23:18 basil fawlty in the brat camp. Surrealism? scatterheart 21-03-2004, 00:43 I love this program. Those kids parents seemed a bit too soft, they would have had a good slapping a long time ago if they were mine. I used to get one and it didn't do me any harm :P ;) I agree though that most of them will only change for a week or so when they get home, then real life will kick back in  Foxxx 23-03-2004, 16:41 I've been watching it too. It makes me laugh, most of the kids on their Tarquin, Isabelle, whatever they are called seem to come from perfectly normal, spoilt brat backgrounds. Problem children! yeah right, spoilt brats more like!!! Still amusing to watch. The shame about most of these camps is that only rich parents can afford to send their children there. What about real problem children. I'm not talking some rich kid, who says f**k every now and again, goes to parties, and smokes the occasional spliff. I'm talking about kids who have lost their way, have no money, no encouragement, and live in an area where peer pressure has got them doing some really bad stuff. All seems ironic to me, but still good entertainment. 'Spoilt brat camp'! ANGELUS 09-02-2005, 08:38 Did you watch last nights performance. How much more bitching about stuff can they all do? I'd keep them in the camp for a year.. that'd change the bloody lot of them. I blame it on the parents Im affraid.. all very posh and well to do - couldnt giving a toss about what their kids are doing. I like how the brats are trying to look hard as well.. LMAO... and as for the 'punk' brat in there.. More like charlie from Busted than a punk. WallBuilder 09-02-2005, 16:15 Haven't managed to watch as much of this as I would like to as i just love seeing kids being taught that there are actions to their bad behaviour. In the last series the little angels did eventually seem to reform but then I'd like to see a follow up to the original crowd and see who hass really made a go of it. I think it's a shame though that these camps are in other countries, maybe the government could consider setting one up on a remote Scottish island perhaps? Again though in the first series i do seem to remember some of them 'reforming' very rapidly and it didn't fool the staff for a second. Don_Kiddick 09-02-2005, 17:05 I have a sixth sense feeling that the kids on the show have all been "brought-up" by nanny & not had any parenting whatsoever. They'll have loads of disposable income to keep them occupied so they don't hassle mamar & papars business activities too much. IMO:D Foxxx 14-02-2005, 12:32 Watched last weeks episode and again, like last years series they have picked spoilt brats again! That girl who has a really messy room etc, her mum was moaning about it, well sorry love but you need to learn about parenting! I had a really messy room when I was a teenager. My mum, turned round to me one day and said if I didn't clear it up she would put everything in a black sack and throw it. I called her bluff by saying 'yeah right', came home from school and she had bagged up everything! Panic set in because I had a lot of personal stuff like letters, diaries, jewellary etc so I stopped her binning it just in time and tidied my room to perfection. I didn't let it get messy again after that! Sidla 15-02-2005, 13:46 Apparently, one of the girls lives in the same village as me. She has blonde hair with brown roots (or vice-versa, I don't watch it so wouldn't know). Foxxx 08-03-2005, 08:37 For anyone who's interested there is a brat camp revisited on tonight (think its at 9pm) and it will show how last years brats have got on over the last year! |
