i have a few shops to rent and with the governments fantastic idea of reducing the empty rates ceiling, i am faced with having to pay full rates on empty commercial units. with the bleak period we've just been through and another looming, commercial space won't be easy to fill.
with this in mind i thought, well, i'm going to have to start a business to fill the space myself.
i guess i'm a bit of a foodie and i'm looking for anyone who thinks they make something thats great. if you make chutney, jam, bread, soup.... if you rear chickens, pigs, cows... if you make one recipe really well, lets talk.

Hi...I've just been down to look at your unit and I love it. Would like to meet you and hear your thoughts and plans. Me and my two partners are artisan bakers and have just rented a light industrial unit nearby. We have all worked and trained in wood fired bakeries in Germany, France and of course the UK and we specialize in long fermented breads.

I live abroad and can supply you with plum fresh tomato's at a very reasonable price. but they are here and now. they could be with you in a matter of 3-4 days, many vans are traveling back and forth from Bulgaria to uk all the time.
We deal in kilos here and i would need just a few more details and a retainer of 20p per kilo in advance and you would have to pay the driver for transport yourself. at a guess around 50-70 pounds..
so now you would work out all the costs and see if its worth it to you. let me know if you are interested and we will exchange emails and details
