Hi im currently in year 10 at school and my work experience is coming up. i am doing Double health and social care or for Gcse and my work experience has to be linked with Health and Social care but im really stuck where i could go because i dont really fancy an old peoples home. Does anybody have any ideas or places i could go to for the week please?

try writing to relevant council depertments - check the council web site out for information and contact details. Try to avoid nursing homes / nurserys where you will be used as cheap labour to clean and cook etc and not get any worthwhile experience.

why dont you try the hospitals? i did my nvq at the northern general about 14 years ago but im sure they still have the volunteers dept.
