I think the one you mean at Beighton is near the level crossing and the one near the airport (you mean the one on the other side of the parkway I assume) is on google.

The one at beighton is known locally as "The pit pond" if you drive up the A57 from Woodhouse Mill towards Worksop and take the thrid exit off the first roundabout you come to, then go straight on at the next roundabout. You then take the first left after the roundabout and left again almost immediately..you'll be parked at the end of the dirt track, to your right

I've always known the pond at Beighton as black watter, it could be a long walk as the track had very deep ruts made by heavy vehicles & cars were bottoming out on the high spots. But apparently it still fishes well as does the river Rother, in the right swims there are some very nice Barble & Chub with good shoals of Roach.

If anyone threatens you with a shotgun, then a quick phone call to the police will see them at the very least having a serious word with him and/or revoking his shotgun certificate. Although if the fella did have shooting rights on there that means he had written permission from the landowner to be there, which is something the anglers didn't have and thye were also stopping him from enjoying his days shooting, so I can understand why he was annoyed....but also it wouldn't surprise me if it was because of his actions that he lost the permission

However if the farmer comes and tells you to leave then unfortunately you must leave as the pond is on his private land so strictly speaking you're trespassing.
