Hi all! I am buying a plane square cake from the asda in about 3 weeks time for someones birthday but she want's a celebrity on the front. I need someone who can print me a photo onto the cake ( the asda won't do it me as it is copyrite) i don't want to pay loads as i can't really afford to at short notice ( her bf's only just told me lol) if you or know anyone who can do this for about the 7th-8th september i would gladly appreciate it! thanx x

I think Cooplands do it, but perhaps not if you don't have their cake x

yeah thats the problem im having, the cakes costing me about £8-9 ( its basically a novelty thing as she will be absolutely chuffed if i got her the celeb she likes on it so not wanting to spend a fortune lol x

You will have the same problems most places because of the copyrighting laws if its a professional pictures.

I don't think most place will do it with the copy right problem. It's not something you can do yourself either really

i was thinking of maybe someone who actually bakes cakes at home as i know some of them print pictures onto their cakes ( i had one done for my sons 1st birthday and they printed a tellytubby pic onto it from home but i no longer have her contact details or anything! lol x

Cant you use another picture instead

I've just thought you can get those rice paper printed sheets for buns on ebay what about those make they do bigger ones of your required celeb

That one is half the price.

They use the exact same thing at the Asda. It's just rice paper.

just for future reference I can print any image onto fondant icing sheets not the cheap rice paper, the most I charge is £5.00 and thats for upto A4 size!
