Went to a place to get the mk3 steam cleaned. Started fine no probs. Parked it in town-and on my way back I could hear an alam going off. You'll have guessed it, it was my car. God knows how long it had been going off.
Anyhow its still wont stop wathever I do- Even locking the car and reopening it- started the engine and its still going off even with the engine turned on!!!!!!! HELP PLEASE!!!!! The neighbours are going to kill me!

its wet,the steam has short circuited it, wd40 round it may help , if not disable and allow to dry, it should have been wrapped up in plastic bags before they steam cleaned it,as should any electrical points.....

try finding the fuse for the alarm and take it out should stop then m8:thumbsup:

Or I was gonna say try a Golf Forum or somert - if i got any probs with my Mondy its the place I go first.

try drying out the wiring and electrical sytstem, has the alarm gone off ? if you can get the alarm imobolised,reinstall battery start car up to dry things out, remobilise alarm ,shoul be ok when all is dry and back to normal
