In the past few days I found an electronic page device which can be used to handwrite their notes and save each page separately. I cant remember what it's called but remember it cost £100. I've searched my history but cant find it so wonder if anyone else has heard of it. Need a link to it urgently. Thanks

NB I know that it is definitely not Wacom. It is a whole page. I think it's also in A5 size and is like a mobile note taker which uses handwriting recognition software and can store handwritten pages as separate files. It is like a pad with several pens and although it is independent of a computer I think it may have a USB connection.

does anyone know how reliable this technology is because a friend has just told me that when his Department looked at it they decided it was far too unreliable. Have things moved on???

This device appears to save the whole page as an image file, rather than do any kind of handwriting-to-text conversion.
Devices that attempt handwriting-to-text conversion may be the type of one that may prove too unreliable.

People usually use tablet pc's for this kind of thing with handwriting recognition sofware such as OneNote.

Ok well I think I'll stick with the solution I'll be getting because it's been approved and it'll just drag things out still further to consider this option particularly if there are unresolved technical issues. Thanks again for your time anyway.
