mikey 01-05-2003, 03:05 PM I watched the last series of this and found it quite good, so I sat down to watch the latest installment of I'm a celebrity get me out of here.
I have found this one boring, too long, and a right load of tosh.
Is is it me?
I have my TV habits changes?
Are the Celebs too nice, there's been no bust up yet.
Anybody else been watching?
Geoff 01-05-2003, 03:12 PM Are the Celebs too nice
Celebs? I haven't seen any yet...
Hixxy 01-05-2003, 04:54 PM This programme is just a way for Z-list celebrities to get their faces on TV for a couple of weeks in the hope that it leads to more work when the show is finished.
As is Celebrity Big Brother.
As is Celebrity Fame Academy.
I think reality TV is far more interesting when it just contains 'Joe Public'.
Sidla 01-05-2003, 06:30 PM I didn't watch the first one, but I'm reasonably entertained by it. Not heard of most of the people in it, but Phil Tuffnell makes me laugh.
oi! "tufty" is a star!
ive seen him in real life :D
Sidla 01-05-2003, 06:42 PM I didn't mean it in a bad way. I think he's the best person in it and I'll be very surprised if he doesn't win.
rosie 01-05-2003, 11:43 PM :x
I think you are all sad that don`t enjoy Big brother and I`m a celebrity I think they are great and in the society we live in today it`s a great way of forgeting the crap and having a laugh and that makes you live longer.
I don`t mind if they are celebrities or not I enjoy watching them in a diffrent environment. We all live fast lives and I don`t go out drinking as I have children and I did not have them to palm them off on others so I chill by having a laugh, don`t see anything wrong in that.
mikey 01-05-2003, 11:46 PM I watched again tonite, not getting much better though

Isn't that like saying: "I think you're sad for not liking carrots - they are orange, taste great, you can stir fry them, boil them and eat them raw. In a world of so many boring vegetables the carrot offers excitment and variety..."
It's called 'taste' - and everyone is entitled to it :)
Lickszz 02-05-2003, 12:16 AM I rarely watch TV and can't keep interested in these type of programs.

You could be right! :)
Foxxx 02-05-2003, 12:33 AM I have to admit I do like these programs. There's something very funny about watching 'stars' make fools of themselves and getting scared by the tasks. I was wetting myself last night when they did that caberet thing at the end. They took it really seriously and were performing as if on a stage in the middle of nowhere!!! God they must be bored, it kept me well entertained though!
Sidla 02-05-2003, 12:45 PM John Fashnu is such a wimp. I thought it was hilarious last night when he had to face 'the bridge of doom'. He kept saying 'focus, focus' all the time!
Internetowl 04-05-2003, 12:13 AM must say, I'm really enjoying it this time around. Love the way Fash keeps getting nominated - he'll go around the bend I'm sure. Tufs has smuggled in some drugs and I think he might be fancying his chances with Ms DIY. Of the rest, Danniella is a mess, Cat is ugly and only used the kiss for a bit of cheap publicity. Hopefully Tufs will win it.
Sidla 04-05-2003, 05:34 PM Anthony make me laugh too. It was great how he managed to escape!
