Looking to get some vinyl flooring for our bathroom (1.7m x 1.8m )and seperate toilet (1.5m x 0.9m).

Have seen some decent stuff in carpet Right, Woodseats.

Can anyone give any opinions as to their service/fitting/experience (I understand they use independent fitters so guess that could be hit and miss?)

Did a deal with them to include fitting and paid there and then. When the fitter turned up, wanted extra to supply gripper rods, tape and door bars! I told him that I'd gone through all the requirements when I ordered the carpet but he claimed that the items needed in fitment were charged extra! In the end I made him use the existing gripper rods and door bar (i changed the door bar myself at a later date) and sent him packing with no tea and no tip ( I always tip worthy tradesmen). Wish I'd have gone independent now.:mad:

We've just had our carpet fitted by them, Drake house shop. Unlike the previous post we were told from the start that grippers and door plates were extra, but advised to keep the old ones. We had to pay the fitters seperately but were given a price when we ordered. The fitters were really good and the following day we were contacted by Carpet right to check if everything was ok.:thumbsup:

It may also have been the fitters not been given the correct information before hand. Did you contact the showroom?

I see from Dugsy's (Surefit) website that they offer free fitting and underlay so all in all may be cheaper.
