I'm looking to enter a 1973 Mini Clubman (with Cooper engine) for this years "Clubmans Rally Championship" but as yet do not have a navigator.

More information on the Championship is available here -

http://www.hrcr.co.uk/clubman/index.htm

Basically, the Championship consists of 9 one day events in various parts of the country. Typical entry fees are £80-£110 per team (i.e per car with driver and navigator) per event and membership of the organising body is £25 for the year.

As I am a novice myself, I am not expecting an expert navigator to join me. In fact, I am happy for anyone to take on that role as I am desperate to enter my car! Some map-reading ability would be good as Ordnance Survey maps are usually used for the routes.

If you're up for this sort of thing then PM me your number and I'll contact you to discuss further.

Cheers!

Tom

I don't think Sat Navs are able to tell you how harsh the corner is, etc, etc

I would definitely be interested I have been wanting to do something like this for ages. But I have no money :(

The Mini purchase fell thru so I am falling back on my 1979 Mk1 Ford Fiesta which I used to do the Lands End - John O'Groats Rally last Christmas.

Not much money needed - £25 to join the Rally organisation and then about £40 per Rally in entry fees.

Still looking if anyone wants to do it - having looked into it further it will cost about £60 in up front fees then maybe £50 per race.

Anyone interested?

Cheers
