HSBC Ladies FC, Sheffield (5-a-side) has been running since 2001, and now has an established squad of around 14 players

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to adopt a primary coaching role, with the responsibility of planning & running training sessions and team selection.

What commitment is required?

Devise and deliver training sessions specifically targeted at areas/skills in need of improvement.

Joint responsibility for taking training sessions at HSBC Training Ground, Dore, on Wednesday evenings (all throughout the year) 6pm - 7.45pm.

Attending league matches on Mondays (Dore) in order to develop ideas for potential training sessions and assist in appropriate team selection.

What experience is required?

Ideally you will have football coaching experience and/or qualification. However, if you think you have the necessary skills and commitment and want to give it a go, we would be happy to speak to you.

We are looking for someone who can dedicate their time to us and help our continual improvement.

I am qualified in sports psychology and performance coaching.
I am also a qualified golf coach, and am also taking the FA coaching course at some point this year.
I have managed two football teams before and have played football from the age of 10 to 28.
The only question I have is regarding sex. I am male, are you specifically looking for or is the opening only for a female coach?

We are not specifically looking for a female coach, all our previous coaches have been male, that's not a problem.

Your background sounds perfect. If you're interested, then please feel free to come to one of our sessions on a Wednesday night. We currently have a coach, but he plays cricket and golf in the summer so we are looking to bring someone in for this reason, as we play all year round.
