We're planning to have an Hawiaian (can't spell the bugger)themed BBQ tomorrow night - for family, friends and neighbours - but I am having trouble getting hold of charcoal. I went down to the petrol station earlier this evening, but amazingly they only had petrol and Giant Rizlas.

Everything else is sorted: food, drink, costumes, etc - but no chuffing charcoal.

Any tips on where to get some? Oh, and lighter fuel.

Lol! Try asda, in the garden section... :D Good luck! Fingers crossed it doesn't rain!

Or failing that, try the garden centre at your local DIY shop such as B&Q.

We're only doing the usual stuff: cooked food and alcoholic drinks.

The Pacificicky type mood might go down well, don't you think? bananas, pineapples, mangoes - all 'syrupy' and cooked to perfection.

Lovely stuff.

Forget the charcoal, I'll get some diffierentitive alternatate substance from elsewhere.

What about old car tyers? They burn and must make an interesting alternative.

We'll see.

My Uncle is coming down from Burnley; Phillip ( who lives near Crookes) is getting the Lambrini sorted, John Sinden is ( my nephew's sister's friend) sorting the costumes out for me, Dean Keith is on vocals and Steve Dibble will just amaze you.

Bob and Sparky are something else.

I'm surprised they let people from Burnley into Sheffield (from a Blackburner) :-)

Petrol stations often sell it.

I'm going down to the butchers on Heeley Bottom to get some chicken and stuff for the BBQ later. At present I am having a google round to see about hiring some pacificky costumes.
