I'm just interested to know if anyone has any experience of buying a car online from one of the more well known Internet sources like Virgin Cars or the AA.

If you've done it, would you do it again, or avoid it like the plague? Were there any particular issues such as erratic customer service or anything like that?

I'd also be interested to know if you had a car to part exchange, and how smoothly that part of the transaction went.

I used to work with a woman that did buy one through Jamjar. It was cheaper than through the dealer. It was delayed for about a fortnight and when it came (delivered to her door and her part ex was driven away) it was exactly what she'd ordered. She was happy.

Yeah me, I just quoted the price on there and they dropped their price.
