View Full Version : Overnight snow forecast
Sledge alert.
Get ready for a hellish journey to work/school tomorrow.
Up to 10cm of overnight snow forecast for the region.
uncleheed 11-03-2004, 22:06 no need to worry about a hellish drive to school, because the teachers usually get snow up to the windows, and they can't get to work
I cant see us getting much snow personally, its too cold
Sam Miguel 11-03-2004, 23:26 I just looked out, Mo - The sky's too high! No snow tonight.
Skatiechik 12-03-2004, 07:24 Snow this morning tho'. Hope it goes :(
As expected... next to nothing, and we usually get it the worst.
Why do the forcasters feel the need to protect their backs ALL the time if there is any chance of unusual weather?
Agent Orange 12-03-2004, 08:09 Where is the snow?! As I got up this morning there was more snow than you could ever wish for over where I live, but as soon as I got near sheff, there was no snow to be seen!!! :loopy:
Looks like we may get it later, just spoke to a work mate in Cardiff and they have had 4 inches

It's the hurricane effect. Ever since Sevenoaks became Twooaks, and we were told "there is no chance of a hurricane tonight" the weather forecasters have given us the worst prediction. If it turns out better, we are happy - and if it is as bad as they say at least they told us so!

If you have a quick glance at their post history, you'll see that of 6 posts, 4 of them (the one above being the last of these) are direct responses to "Dick Dastardly".
