I keep seeing and hearing these add's on the tv and radio advertising compensation clams if you have had an accident that was not your fault. And now there are all these stories about people sewing Burgerking KFc Mcdonald's ECT becuase they go a hot drink split it anf then burnt themselves ( even though when you order a hot drink youn expect it to be hot and on the polystyrene cups it says warning contense may by hot). Don't you think we are starting to get Like America

No I dont. In America you stand a reasonable chance of actually getting paid out your compensation; here you stand a better chance of these shysters covering up and arranging settlements behind your back to leave you in a worse position than you were in before instructing them.

I had one of those ambulance chasers harassing me on the moor the other week, He said "Have you had an accident in the last year" to which I replied " Yes, but it was only a little one and my Mum said not to worry" My Husband started laughing, but it was completely lost on the ambulance chaser:hihi:

My mate used something similar on the moor - "Yes, but she said it wasnt a big deal, and that it happened to a lot of blokes"
