The love of my life (who is 3 years old) has just started at a new childminder 2 mornings a week.
He has only been twice, but he now say's she is his favourite lady and he wants to pack up his thomas the tank engine backpack and go and live there.
It seems she has a better selection of engines than me, any advice?
Tell him....
"Did she carry your heavy ass for 9 months, have morning sickness and backache everyday and give painful horrible labour - just so you could come into this world and like other ladies??? Hmmm?"

Hmmm?" pack his lunch in a bandana, give him a hug and wave him off,he will be back before you know it..............they always are
Tell him...
"You're so naive. You never seem to understand the complexities of our relationship. Will Her Thomas love you in the same way that My Thomas does?"
If that doesn't work, smash a plate against a wall.
Dont worry Scoop.
Nobody can take away a mothers love

We have a labrador like that :D
I wouldnt worry too much, my daughter also cant wait to go to childminders all the time. Id just be really grateful that you obviously have a great childminder who is doing a fantastic job and be pleased that your son is so happy there! It can be hard to find a good one but you must have if your son likes her so much as ur child will be first to let you know otherwise.

The fact that these children want to leave you willingly means that you have done a good job! Ironic isn't it?
