Not going to see AC but I did see Frank Zappa in 1968. he discovered AC:D
He was the first one to give them a recording contract.
They were "discovered" by manager Shep Gordon at the Cheetah Club in Venice, California. He arranged the audition with Zappa.

it was the first time i've seen him live, and i was really impressed with his vocals. he sounded fantastic! i half expected him to be struggling as a lot of other singers do live (especially when they're getting on!)... but he was great :)
