I need to do a complete restore on my laptop, is there any way I can back up my MSN emoticons?

I know some are stored as jpgs or gifs, but where are the ones I have "added" from the MSN window?

Apart from the ones that you've made yourself, I don't think there is any way of saving them, apart from sending asking a friend to save them on their Messenger, and then after the restore, asking your friend to send them back.

If you display an emoticon whilst chatting, the person to whom you're chatting can save the emoticons for their own use.

C:\Documents and Settings\blAze\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\3610383127\CustomEmoticons

Mine were stored there, if you have a look around there you should also find your backgrounds etc too.
