Firstly, apologies if this is a repetitive thread...but I haven't seen any other comments re: this horrendous program.
Soapstar superstars? I think someone is having a laugh at my expense. I have never heard anything as bad...ok, well I have at some karaoke evenings after about 10 whiskeys.
With the run up to the start, the soapstars were profiled each making themselves sound fairly proficient, I was quite looking forward to some good surprising performances. I love singing and live performances. Well, come to it and I am shocked. Talk about delusion.
What about the panel of judges??? All the great praise when they were clearly crap. I wish they'd stop trying to be nice and just be honest. Cilla's lost any sense of credibility for me, I wish she'd be more honest.
Yes, it takes bottle to stand up and sing. But come on. Stick to acting. Please. I can't watch it - I have had to come away from REM's Everybody Hurts - it goes through me!
