If you could bring any ex pro who used to play for your side out of retirement ,at the best level he had, to play in your current side now who would it be?

Itd have to be Waddle or Hirst for me....pure class.

Id have to go with Peter Withe. The man was a legend.

Either Bestie or Cantona.

I'd just bring back the whole of the 1970 Championship winning team if possible, but top three:
Howard Kendall, Colin Harvey and Alan Ball what a midfield:clap:

Cantona, though Best is the most skilful British player I have ever seen and I had that pleasure many times as I specifically went to watch him and Law, rather than their club.
Of course, Cantona was 'spun' by Sheffield Wednesday with that Francis saying he wanted to see Cantona play on grass!

I would bring back Len Badger. He was a tremendous player and so underrated. In his day there was little football on TV and United never appeared. If the country had seen in the mid sixties what a talent he was then he would have been in the 1966 World Cup side.He was miles better than Cohen.A great player

I know that he never played for Everton but if there was one player I could bring back it would, above all, have to be Roy Race of Melchester Rovers FC......................what a talent, what a player

Spyro. Peter Withe, what planet are you on? The best thing about Peter Withe, he could chest it down. Full stop. Oh and his sweat bands!!!!

No I would have to go for that Sheffield United legend, Keith Edwards.

Dixie Dean, were goal shy at the moment and the greatest ever striker to grace the english leagues would knock a few in.

Seeing as my club (MUFC) are in dire need of a rampaging midfielder who can defend, it has to be:
Bryan Robson at his pomp.

Zola for me every time, closely followed by McCoist.

And yes I know they played for different teams. I've been a Rangers fan all my life and a Chelsea supporter since 70's.

PS blue is my favourite colour. ;)

Alan Kelly.

Most under-rated goalkeeper there ever was.

The performance in the semi vs Wendy was out of this world.

Plus he's a top Blade and a true gent.

Thought you needed a Centre Forward?
