Should I stock up on Nik Naks now before they're no more?
What will we all do with out that particular tang of Nik Naks which I loved as a child at the school tuck shop... as well as the ever so popular Wheat Crunchies? :o

You can ditch the scampi flavoured Nik-Niks ( a pile of non-selling stock of those smelly things are probably causing the financial problems anyway)

Walkers was a small, regional brand, not much different to Seabrooks.
Pepsico bought Walkers and hired Gary Lineker, and pumped gazillions into marketing until Walkers were on top.

nah, the intellectual rights to the more popular products (defo nik naks and wheat crunchies) will be bought up by larger company, who have a more successful promotional department.. like squares and "salt n shake" were..

Yep, had a packet the other week.
They were made by "Smiths" who were bought by Walkers so all these now belong to walkers (monster munch, discos (I think?) etc).
Dunno what will happen to the nik naks though :( Maybe walkers will buy them too?

Walker's would've better served spending the money they paid to get him doing their adverts on R and D of their product.
The Scampi fries aren't too bad though to be honest, I had some in the Dev Cat last night.
On the local news they interviewed a union rep from the factory in Scunny where Nik Naks and Wheat Crunchies are made and she seemed confident that management would be able to save the workforce and the plant.
The factory over in Corby however that provides generic crisps for supermarkets is set to be relocated / shut
