I really need a change of scenery from living in the UK, my current job (graphic designer) is due to finish end of May / beginning of June and i would love to just get away somewhere different. I would consider moving for the right graphic design position.

I'd like to work abroad, perhaps in a challenging role such as volunteering to help at homeless shelters or something. I would appreciate any ideas / advice you may have - what are your plans for this summer? What have you experienced in the past?

What places should i avoid?

Has anyone got any relatives that i can visit?!!

What about teaching English as a foreign language? Look in the back of the Times Educational for details. You'd need a TEFL cert. but not all places require it, just being able to speak English can be enough. The pay isn't all that great, but if you just want to travel and live abroad it's possible.

Must be plenty or opportunites in Iraq, no seriously I am sure they are crying out for volunteers to assist. Dont where to look though.
