Are your friends a reflection on your own character? Do you have "a" best friend or a few? Here are two of mine.
Friend 1:
A true career woman in mid thirties. Her appearance is ultra chic, yet she burps in private like a trooper. Her home is like an art gallery and she tends to be the "Monica" one from friends. She has a toy boy (who isn't allowed to mess up).
She's one of the wittiest people I know, she speaks like a lady, knows endless facts about films and music but works in IT. She still loves toilet humour!
I have known her for 10 years and we met at work (both civil servants back them) we were both on the same path. Our lives took totally different directions about 8 years ago and we have remained as close. She is classed as my husbands wife number 2.
Friend 2:
Another friend I met at work 13 years ago. She is very tall and blonde, too bubbly to put into words. She is a substitute mother and when I suffered an illness I turned up on her doorstep for mothering. She knows what I am thinking and she makes me laugh. She thinks I am wierd and excentric. I don't see or hear from her for months but when we get together it's like we had never been apart. We have promised to go on cruises together when are partners have expired. We will possibly move in together and go for lots of pub lunches.
So there are two of mine who are complete opposites.
