About to put my house on the market in Woodseats, has anyone had any good or bad dealings with Bloors or Blundells. Fees are the same, just wondered if Bloors would be a better, more personal service? Advice would be appreciated.

Blundells I'm told are excellent for advertising. Crap pre and post sale advice.

Go with Bloors!

Blundells are prone to getting information wrong, when I've looked.

What about Winkworth - they were all around the area where my old college was - Lewisham (the better parts) and Blackheath - or are they 'elite' in Sheffield (as well as London it would seem)?

Bloors is just down the road, and they seem a friendly company, but at the end of the day it's about selling for the best price?

DO NOT USE BLUNDELLS. Yes they are good at advertising but their negotiators are rubbish (to put it nicely!) - they lost me quite a lot of money and would never use them again.

they did a good job with two house purchases i have made within the last 3 years. I would sell my property through them if only i could.

Give em a try, alot of the services they offer you can sample before committing

Blundells area supervisor told me off for asking for the details for too many houses when we were looking for a house accessible to the M1  :suspect:

:loopy: steer well clear of them

Don't you Sheffielders call them 'blunders'?

I had a valuation carried out by Bloors a few months back. Obviously I didn't go too far in to the process as I was only considering selling my house and wanted to know what it's worth, but they were very friendly and understanding.

Based on the 20 minutes I had with Bloors and the written follow up I would certainly use them again.

Not tried Blundells as when I bought my house about 6 years back I used an estate agents just off Ecclesall Road that now appears to have gone.

So I can only recommend Bloors and know nothing about Blundells I'm affraid.

What about ELR?

My aunt and uncle (before they moved back to Kent) always sold through ELR, and bought through them too.

I can recommend Baldersons on Woodseats, they really did a fantastic job for me.

(By the way, does every estate agency on Woodseats have to start with the letter 'B'?)
