Friday 22nd from 8pm
STRANGE CHILDREN: electronic-tinged soundscape adventuring
Easing you in to the festival vibe on Friday, we have some weird and wonderful ambient electronica and noise emissions from the following:
10.30pm Ten - "cloud-filled electronic pulse"
9.45pm Tomorrow We Sail - "seriously impressive terraced dynamics...striking, widely-spaced vocal harmonies"
9.00pm Die Plankton - "enigmatic nihilists"
Ably assisted by Paul Sellers and his Dream Machine, host of 'Eclectica on Sheffield Live! 93.2FM, who will be spinning wonderful, weird and wizard tunes.

OF THE NORTH: bands plucked from the northern wastelands
8.50pm MONSTER ISLAND “like pop music, but not popular”
8.00pm CITRUS LINES “raw indie rock”
7.00pm CARNATIONS “Cure meets Editors, until old-school rave piano!” "apocalypse wow!" NME
6.10pm EXIT CITY SONS “banging folk and acoustic electro”
5.20pm THE RIOTS “psychedelic rock n’ roll”
4.30pm HUNKY DOREY “Glaswegian 70s punk/mod revival”
3.40pmMARTYN GOLDSACK “sings from the soul, for the soul”
3.00pm KIRSTY MERRYN “warm soothing vocals”
2.20pm DWIGHT IAN PEREIRA “heartfelt, raw, potent”
followed by MARK HARRISON on the decks
