I recon any Mobile Phone shop, they're all the same, want to sell you the package that gives them best commision. You could try the SuperMarkets they give good deals now on Pay as you go.

from the internet, cheaper costs for the companies means cheaper phones and better contracts for us. do your reasearch in shops, find the phone you want and the best deal contract wise that you can find and then use that useful little thing called the net... worked for me

Charities are supposed to make a difference. It's part of their constitution.

Telecom plus.... no free minutes or text.... but txt messages at 7p and all calls at 2.5p per min.... you can programme your phone and look at your bill ongoing.... that's the deal I had.... may have changed but I can't be sure. Line rental £12.50 per month and a brand new Sony Ericsson 750ki as well.

ideas? links? recommendations? Yes, I've had problems with them. They offer half-price line rental, but you actually have to claim it back, of which claim, unless you actually send it by recorded delivery or special delivery, they will deny knowledge.

Dial-a-Phone are a rip-off IMO.

a lot do this, i sent back the forms and always got my account credited. i think its just to catch out lazy people that forget or lose the forms.

but if i do this i will send them recorded to be sure.

I've been on O2 pay as you go in the past, and it was by no means as cheap as I was lead to believe, sure the price of texts isn't too bad, but call charges are a con, especially cross network, I was going through £20 a month in top ups regularly, would've probably been better off with a £20 a month contract.
