Are there any good jazz clubs in Sheffield?

Don't know of any, but I believe they sometimes have Jazz on at bar Boho.

We'll be mixing on some dancefloor jazz at the new Pow Wow mod night. Details on the 'new mod night in Sheffield' thread.

Never been myself, but there is a really popular longstanding jazz club at The Lescar on a Wednesday evening.

There is a jazz night on at The Riverside pub back end of town. They also do curry and thai nights which are great value for money.
Aside from that I do not know of any others...

There's quite a good jazz scene around Sheffield and Rotherham. One I can recommend is a Monday night at The Bluecoats pub in rotherham, behind the Town Hall. kicks off around 7.30 but better to get there early as it does get very busy. Great music. VERY cheap beer and lots of variety in drinks too!

I have seen some good nights on Wednesday at the Lescar and Sunday is good at West Street Live, the manager is a bit of a prick but it's free to get in and it's a nice place.
