:D[Beighton Gala/funday THIS Saturday . Hi guys it's gala time again! Lots to see and do...and a lot of it free! (unlike other events on this day!) This year we have the usual parade, funfair ,punch and judy, stalls, dancing displays, vintage cars and bingo. Our highlights this year are Cyril the Squirrel and his racing terriers and a chance to drive a specially adapted car with the IAM (Institute Advanced Motorists). Lots of our stalls are for charity so please show your support and come and join us. There should be around 100 stalls again and space for a couple more pitches/stalls (charity stalls are free) ... and last year we had over 6,000 attendees over the day and we all had a fantastic day.

Beighton Funday, Parade brilliant as normal not a very good turn out on the streets though, & the organisation or parade committee need to look into whom they hire as Marshalls/police drinking while on duty
