Just wondering if anyone else connected to the broomhill Bt exchange is experiencing very slow download speeds. I know the VP status of the exchange is red, but up untill I upgraded my connection the other day I wasn't affected by contention at all.

Use the BT speed tester to test your connection.This will involve logging on to ADSL using a special username, similar to using bt_test@startup_domain to test your ADSL connection, if you login with the username speedtest@speedtest_domain, and go to the BT Speedtest (http://speedtester.bt.com/cgi-bin/home.page.pl)
