MTheo 04-01-2006, 15:24 i wish i kicked the **** out of bullies at school and got some confidence instead of withdrawing into myself and becoming a bit too shy coz of all the bad things being stuck in my head em28 04-01-2006, 15:56 Wish I'd have stood up for myself & been more confident at school, and in my early twenties appreciated the value of money more and not squandered it on utter crap ! nick2 04-01-2006, 16:00 I wish I'd slept with that famous person i met in London. dibsy 04-01-2006, 16:02 Originally posted by nick2 I wish I'd slept with that famous person i met in London. Scammy 04-01-2006, 16:16 i wish i hadnt ended up in a eating disorder clinc Rich 04-01-2006, 16:38 I would've applied myself better at School, especially in Maths, not having a maths GCSE is affecting my suitability for even the most menial of office jobs nowadays :( Sod science and all that rubbish, just gimme a bloody maths GCSE, but all the College courses charge like £200 plus exam fees, WTF?! I'm only rich by name ya know. I've got more memories from the few months I've been at university than I have in some of my earlier years... From school trips to First aid training, to learning instruments and taking an interest in sports... I just didn't bother... It'd have opened a whole new door to me... It's not too late though, I can do all these things now... and it just goes to show that my university years are gonna be the best, because I'm really getting involved in stuff I'd not normally have tried... I'm fancyfree... and I'm happy :D taxman 01-05-2008, 15:38 I would have found a job earlier rather than dossing around on the dole after I graduated from University...then I'd have been in a better position to buy a house before the prices went stupid Fivetide 01-05-2008, 15:41 Being born. Life's hard work and I'm damn lazy. Danny_Boy 01-05-2008, 15:43 I wish I had bought my house 3 years earlier than I did. I was still on near enough the same money as I am now and the house would have been £45k cheaper. natalie H 01-05-2008, 15:48 I would not get into as much debt as I have :( Tess 01-05-2008, 15:51 I would have gone to collage and done a course i enjoy or start working instead of staying on at a 6th form i dont like. wwcrazy 01-05-2008, 15:55 I would have grown some backbone and made a life for myself. My sexuality. Women are far too high maintainance and not really worht all the effort you put in to a relationship. buster37 09-03-2010, 21:21 If you had the chance to change just one thing in your past life ...(excluding relationships with the opposite sex)....what would it be? I would change some of the company In life I once had  It has took me long enough to realise but not everyone really has the intention of being a friend :( epiphany 10-03-2010, 00:50 Got clued up on the WWW earlier and bought loads of single word domain names like money.com back in 1996. danot 10-03-2010, 00:56 If you had the chance to change just one thing in your past life ...(excluding relationships with the opposite sex)....what would it be? I wouldn't grow my mustache!. bendyman 10-03-2010, 01:01 my next door neighbour *_ash_* 10-03-2010, 01:34 Not trying at school and been easily distracted I've now long been at the point of realising that, you are what you are now, and you are where you are now, because of all that you have experienced and acted upon.. etc... Which is obvious really! (I think this becomes self-evident at about late 20's-30ish, when I've noticed people start to say, for example, 'I would like to have the knowledge that I have now, but be 20 again') However, I think that I would also use this quote, as my 'one thing to change', because I think that I would be where I am now, but much younger! :hihi: - nearly same thing innit! :hihi: - Another reason why I quote this though, is that I'm confused at one particular aspect about my schooling [and schooling in general]. I'm better at subjects (Maths/Physics etc) where I had good teachers, who made things interesting!.. I haven't yet worked out whether this is coincidence, or whether I am just naturally **** at English and language based subjects [all of which I had teachers that didn't make things interesting], |
