This is just a thought through reading another thread. I think that I was when my daughters first started going out with boys. :rolleyes:

of course, coz most men were randy little scrotes and they know what they were doing to girls of simliar age when they were in that position.

If I had a daughter she wouldnt leave the house till shes 65.

And even then, she would have a guardian.

Talking from a feamle point of view.
I know all parents are protective over daughters.but it does not half make me giggle when you hear the dads who got daughters do not like them being out with men, but brag about what they did when they was younger and telling the girl to sneek out and so on and go behind father back when he did not like it..
so you all done it i bet one time or anouther in the past with the girls, and you now know were fathers back then was comming from why they was being protective when i bet you all thought he was just being mean or someting.

I dread the day when my daughter intorduces mw to some spotty herbert and says dad this is my boyfriend......

however, I have a speech prepared to offer the callow youth out of earshot of my offspring.......

Worse in america.. I was watching some program (wife swap, I think) where this poor texan kid was grilled about his intentions and whether he'd ever had sex, and was pretty much threatened with death if he did anything improper.

LOL. Thanks sharpsinger, i'll use that when the time coimes. i always joke with others about the fact that my girl wont date until she's 21 and blokes will be vetted!! :D

When asked what about a sons, i say i turn the 21 round to 12 and encourage him from that age! :D
