Ok the thread says it all really. I'm playing an acoustic set at a wedding on Saturday and I desperately need an amp. Suggestions anyone?

Quite honestly mate, I think your best bet is probably to attempt to find one to borrow from someone.

I know a couple of places that do PA hire, but none that do guitar amps!

If you get well and truly desperate by end of week, pm me and i may be able to loan you one of mine! - should be plenty powerful enough.

EDIT - Hang on, electro-acoustic or acoustic?

I've tried borrowing, but can find no one with one free. It was so much different when I was 18 and everyone I knew was in a band. You could borrow anything.

It's a semi acoustic I'm playing, so just needs amplifying a bit.
