Hello everyone

This Sunday there is a Vintage Vehicle Rally at Wortley Hall to raise money for charity.

The event features vintage motors from pre-war Bentleys to MG Midgets and Ferrari Dinos, and the South Yorkshire Mercedes Benz Owners Club is bringing approximately twenty-five cars too. We are also featuring a static and aerial display of model aircraft this year for the first time.

The event is not just for petrol-heads though. The Rally also includes face painting, a clown and a bouncy castle to keep the kids entertained as well as an owl sanctuary and craft stalls to investigate between admiring the cars.

The Rally starts at 12noon and will cost an adult £3 and each child 50p... and it is all for a good cause. Proceeds are going to The Children’s Hospital Charity and Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity, as well as other local charities.

We hope you can make it, this is the 15th Rally in so many years and every year we raise more and more money for charity and we would really like to keep that tradition going!
