View Full Version : Anyone know a reliable estate agent in Sheffield Anderson 03-01-2006, 19:12 Looking to sell an apartment but unsure who to use as an agent - any recommendations - seen previous comments about the ones not to use in Sheffield. Ta mazz 03-01-2006, 19:17 blundells.... They sell the fastest tinkabel 03-01-2006, 19:19 You could always try and sell it on here?! Saves fees etc that estate agents charge and you may sell it quicker. princessL 03-01-2006, 19:29 DO NOT use Blundells. Ive sold my house with them and they lost quite a lot of money! Plus their fees are higher than the others. Ive heard that Haybrooks are not too bad. munky 04-01-2006, 06:39 FORGET Blunderss. . there hellish. . I whole heartedly sing the praises of a local estate agents called Bloor, based on the corner of Abbeydale rd, Woodseats Rd. . Their fabulous people. . http://www.bloorandco.co.uk/ - 0114 2500800 fruit&nut 04-01-2006, 07:19 DONT use Haybrooks!!! i think you will just have to take pot luck we all have ahd probs with all of them as far as i can see:thumbsup: Lea1979 04-01-2006, 08:09 use www.sell4less.co.uk a Sheffield based company run by fantastic people - definately worth checking out. :) the_rudeboy 04-01-2006, 09:38 Anyone know a reliable estate agent in Sheffield 'Reliable' AND 'estate agent' in the same sentence? Surely a mistake. :o Reed Rains are reasonable IMHO. SteveCoogan 04-01-2006, 10:49 Do not use Blundells! They're useless!! In fact............there are things lying on their backs at the bottom of my pond that are more useful!!!!:gag: munky 04-01-2006, 11:25 Reeds raines are probably cool for selling, but I know they suck large ones for letting/renting. . You seriously cannot go wrong with Bloor and although they're small and based at woodseats, i've seen houses as far away as Ecclesfield that are being sold via Bloor. . . . And seconding the comments that Blunderrs are hellish toilet scum. . grandadtee 04-01-2006, 18:43 Another vote for Reed Rains. However if you leave the thread long enough every estate agent in Sheffield will get a good and bad vote based on people's experiences. Sometimes it's just a gut feeling when you meet the estate agent for the first time. Good luck bookmark 04-01-2006, 20:11 I would go with Haybrooks. I have used them as a seller and buyer savbaby 04-01-2006, 21:14 i used winkworth as a buyer and they were fantastic:thumbsup: |
