Does anyone know what the minimum temperature a workplace/office can be before you can go home?
It was 9ºC in the office this morning and it’s actually warmer outside!

suggests 'reasonable' temperature....
legal minimum is 16 degrees C, no legal maximum although 24 degrees is suggested.
The temperature in workrooms should normally be at least 16 degrees Celsius unless much of the work involves severe physical effort in which case the temperature should be at least 13 degrees Celsius. These temperatures may not, however, ensure reasonable comfort, depending on other factors such as air movement and relative humidity.’
it then goes onto talk about further steps that may be taken if it's still not reasonable.

I'm sure they changed it recently, for various reasons.
There's old stuff floating about on the web, but when we tried to get something sorted at work, we were presented with a very recent document which emphasised the 'reasonable' criteria, without a specific limit, as has been the case in the past (I think).
you'd think that the health and safety executive . government website might have the latest information.
