Is there a train or coach service from sheffield? coopster1974 03-01-2006, 08:53 which one? there are 3 i think naps 03-01-2006, 09:02 Sherwood forest matt1889 03-01-2006, 09:08 As far as trains are concerned, the nearest station to Centre Parcs is Newark NorthGate, which is approx 15 miles away from Centre Parcs? But apparently you can get a taxi beforehand or alternatively travelling to Nott's station and getting a taxi outside there? Still trying to find your coach details! NMatt naps 03-01-2006, 09:12 Cheers matt, ur a star. Coach details would be handy as well! cgksheff 03-01-2006, 09:24 Unless Matt finds a direct coach, you are probably as good taking a taxi all the way. Center Parcs is 15 miles from Newark Northgate, 20 miles from Nottingham Station. Autoroute tells me that it is 23 miles from Sheffield Station. A rough quote for that distance from Sheffield is £25 to £30 each way (but you would still be paying £15 to £20 from Newark or Nottingham plus your train). matt1889 03-01-2006, 09:29 Struggling on the coaches bit really, Id phone South Yorkshire Traveline on 01709 515151 for better info: All I can find at the minute is National express services to Nottingham? Which costs roughly £6.50 return price from Sheffield, then it would be a case of getting a bus from Nottingham to Centre Parcs Edwinstowe! (Nottingham) which I have added a link for to help you! http://212.188.131.251/scripts/webtriplanner.dll/journeys#Route0 |
