I have an MP3 file which is 1.92MB in size and I want to post it on a binary Newsgroup.

Can someone please point me in the direction of how to split this file and post it.

Thanks

I use Outlook Express as my newsreader.

I wouldn't think a file that small would need splitting. The lowest sized split i ever saw was 5Mb, 15Mb , 50Mb.

p.s. no funny stuff about the capitals, you get the gist of what i mean :hihi:

Most files seem to be split into pieces about 400 - 500 Kb , I think you might be thinking of something else.....

On the Tools menu, choose Accounts. Pick the News account you want to use to post to Usenet, then click Properties. Choose the Advanced tab, and under Posting you can choose the size to split (Break Apart) messages into.

Hope this does the trick,
Maggi
