With all the 'love' posted (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4485) towards Nick Margerrison in that other thread, I was wondering if anyone had tuned in to Alex Hall, the late night DJ on BBC Radio Sheffield? I happen to catch the end of one of her shows and have to say I won't be tuning in again! She seems highly patronising to her listeners (in a different fashion to Nick) and judging by the e-mails she reads out - she doesn't exactly seem popular. What's the story there?

Maybe I just caught a bad night...?

In the interests of fairness (and considering Nick is registered here) I will invite Alex to join in this discussion.

I have spoken to Alex live on her night show and she was very pleasant and easy to talk to.
She does a good show and is fair with her callers.
She can get a bit upty with ( better be PC here) the arrogant caller but cant we all.

I think that she is Belle in real life. Their ideas and opinions are very similar indeed. :P

I never reaslised so many people knew of her!

Me and me missus listen to it every night.

I think she is great and for the type of calls she has to deal with... really calm and socially clever.

Did you know she used to be in Emmerdale and had a walk-on role in Coro!

I used to listen to Lucio on hallam but he went too commercial!

One night she said there was only 40 listeners and its aired in loads of areas in Yorkshire! Poor Alex...

Now then talking of Lucio, he is my favourite DJ, after he left Gallaxy it was'nt the same.
Funny enough i heard him on Hallam for the first time yesterday and now i have found him i will be tuning in regular.
