Some bands really annoy me when they bring out a fantastic song, i've spent all my time growing complete contempt for them then they bring out something I can't stop playing or humming..

i'll start us off with

WEEZER - HASH PIPE
STEREOPHONICS - DAKOTA

Loads of older Oasis stuff have that effect on me, can't help liking the music but don't like the band.
They seem to have lost it musicaly (to me anyway) now anyway.

I totally agree!

Im not keen on James Blunt and hated Your Beautiful when it first came out, but as the months went on I was singing to it, despite not liking James Blunt, or the song really. Now, i cant stand the song because it was played waaay too much IMO.

Same here, I wouldn't normally be seen dead buying a single out of the charts these days but that particular song I really like, I even downloaded the original of it last night, by DC Lee.

Yes I know I'm naughty for downloading music, I shall give myself 100 lines immediately, "I shall not download illegal MP3s!"

Where Is The Love is so cliché. That's the reason I hated them so much to start with.

Going back a few years, well to be honest quite a lot of years really, the Three Degrees I hated their music with a passion. Cheesy vocals with lots of 'ooos' and 'ahhs' wimpering on about love and all those things that are anathema to someone with their feet firmly in the mean streets of Punkdom as I was.
But **checks over shoulder to make sure nobody's near my keyboard and commences to type in a whisper** they made this one single called 'Giving Up, Giving In'. It was bloody fantastic, never had the courage to buy it at the time, I was never confident that I could go into a record shop and not be recognised but I've since downloaded it. Great song, why didn't they do them all like that

The one i can think of is I liked Flying without wings when Gareth Gates did it on pop idol (Sorry, cheesy I know) and I detest anything Westlife/Borezonesque with a passion so I was shocked that I like that song.
I also like David Grey's songs but don't like his voice.

Who is she these days? :)

I like Wicked Game by Chris Isaak, I've heard a couple of his others though and they ain't up to much.

I think there's lots of people around who have had one decent song in them but not much else.
