I have searched around for an Xbox 360 of course there are none around apart from Currys.
On there website there selling them for £479.

Now thats £200 higher than the actual cost of one, have they got there price wrong or are they trying it on.:confused:

HMV have got them in and if you buy through the internet you get a 12 % discount so it comes to around £250 for the premium!

PCW at the Retail park had them in stock yesterday - loads of them.

Yeah but people here refuse to set foot in PC World on principle, apparently they sell crap PCs that don't work :loopy:

I'll admit that some of the staff in the Meadowhall Retail Park one are a bit clueless when it comes to computer stuff though... But they just sell it, the retail trade doesn't pay well enough to entice people who actually know what they're talking about.

I know cos I used to be a shop worker.

if its a console i dont see the problem, its computer stuff they dont know about, consoles are buy, set up and off you go :)

every job these days has no customer satisfaction, they dont employ people for knowing the product these days, they normally go on the cheapest, its all about cutting corners

I had a go on one at Toys R Us today, wasn't impressed. I'll stick with my PS2 media centre.

They haven't actually got them in - it says they are in short supply until Easter and they cannot guarantee a delivery date.

between deluxe and standard xbox 360??

PCW and Currys are part of same company so id imagine there wont be a huge amount of difference in price between two?

Could always jus wait 6 months or til PS3 comes out and get one at half the price since they'll be competing for buyers.
