If i was in your boots lady i would stick to one jobs possibly a day time job and spent the rest of the time with your 6yr old

If you take on a second job you may get even more stressed out with life

Hope This Helps

Surely things arent that bad that you would rather sacrifice your only spare time to work. If you do then good luck to you as it will be demanding expecially as you have kid.

Go out and find yourself a nice bloke to move in with and then you can split the bills 50/50 :D

Given the stress you're experiencing, the last thing you need is a second job.

Are there a couple of extra hours a week available in your current one?

If it's money related, is there anything you can do to cut down your expenditure to give you extra cash?

But I'd certainly not consider taking on an extra job, especially with a kiddy in tow!

Don't forget that when you do get a place of your own you might be entitled to help with the bills - go to the CAB and ask for help with benefits.

Finally, don't use credit as a way out of the problems - the interest rates will kill you.

Good luck,

Joe

Having two jobs and a six year old, someone is going to suffer and you dont want it to be your child.

They grow up to quick and you need as much time as possible with them.

Why is a second job so important !!

How much stress do you want in life !!

katy im going to disagree with all of the other posters here. i have 2 jobs, and have for a while, at one point i had 3. having said that my main one is self employment so i manage that around my child. as i mentioned in the other post i was a single mum for 7 years and had to keep a roof over our heads. i did do it mainly for the money but the main thing it gave me was being able to hold my head up high and say that i didnt have to thank anyone for anything i had. i had a certain standard and as i became a lone parent i didnt see why i should drop standards just because hubby walked out. dont get me wrong tho it was blooming hard work. but i managed to go abroad a few times, kept us in clothes, never worried about having the fire on in the winter etc. i also had self respect. which was the main thing. i wouldnt suggest in anyway that u shouldnt spend time with your son. like i said im self emplyed so i was there to take and pick her up from school etc and kept things in a routine for both our sakes. nor am i suggesting that u work in the evenings or anything, just if u r partime at the mo, maybe do something else on another day or something. even tho im now settled and happy with my new love i still do 2 of my jobs. maybe u could do something parttime from home?? so u are with your lilone?
