A continued suppressing of Peak Oil information in mainstream media. Even though Petrol prices will go beyond £1.30 per litre, Peak oil will still only be on page 10 of the sun and 11pm ish on BBC2. The first set of troops to fully retreat will be the Italians, they are by FAR the most useless. When I was there, you couldn't get into the shower or sink cabins because they were all in the mirrors doing their hair.

And from what all of the army Lt's and Sgt's told me, the Italians were useless as soldiers and just always stand around posing.

By the end of 2006, the majority of UK forces in Iraq will withdraw, leaving a small combination of UK, Dutch (one of the best forces out there), Australian and a couple of other nations I can't remember to run SE Iraq.
