In the dressing rooms of Drury Lane, two girls perfect the art of seduction. With beauty and NAKED AMBITION they Transform themselves into paragons of pleasure and ascend to the highest echelons of society in Regency England.
Nottingham based touring company, Lucky Fin bring their latest play to ‘Theatre at Dempsey’s’ after successful runs at Buxton Opera House and Lichfield Garrick. It is the third part of a trilogy, though each play stands alone. Lucky Fin’s aim is to explore the lives and works of famous, infamous or successful women who have somehow been all but forgotten by the passage of time.
‘Naked Ambition’ depicts the passionate lives of Emma Lyons and Eizabeth Armistead. The subplot features Mrs Talbot and Mrs Charke, two of the most sexually ambiguous, intriguing women of the 18th century.'
