Hi all..........I'm turning 18 in a month and having finally found somewhere to have a party and found a dj, I'm now thinking it'll be boring. Everyone throws parties etc etc, but I wanted a party with a difference somehow, anyone got any ideas?? I'm not too keen on the fancy dress-themed idea tho. Themed would be ok, if it wasn't a huge effort.

when is it, maybe you could have done something totally different, like a big trip out to a theme park or something

It's 3rd Feb, tried the theme park idea before n unfortunately they're all shut then.

what about a cheesy PROM theme. The girls could wear powder puff dresses and the guys in Tux'.

Then get a cheesy band to play smoochy music. All the girls would need a dance card making too.

Toga idea, is definitely interesting but i'm liking the cheesy prom theme. I'm always up for sum cheese :D Sounds like a lot of work tho.

We've run Tshirt parties before which are great fun. Get a load of cheap white Tshirts & a load of felt tip pens & everyone writes messages on each others Tshirts - simple, cheap & a giggle.

i could see that going a bit x rated shall we say:D well it would with the people i know.

Have a crawl round the gay bars, it will certainly be "different", specially if you are straight.

Rent a barn and a ceilidgh band. In fact, I want to do that.
