I'm getting a message sku011.cab file missing in Microsoft Office 2003. It was on my computer when I got it but there was no disk apart from the Windows CD. The software came ready installed. The computer is over 12 months old and I am reluctant to go back to the shop. Has anyone any ideas please?
Thank you.
Happy Christmas everyone.

the knowledgebase?
or
http://www.dll-files.com/ ?
I have Microsoft Office Professional 2003, and have just run a search, but can't find that file on my pc.
If Office 2003 came ready-installed on your pc when you bought it, it is likely that it's part of the setup on the recovery disks. Have you tried running them through, on the option of not changing anything to see if that clears the problem?
Otherwise, antispyware/adware scan and antivirus scan seem to be in order.
Thank you for your help everyone. I finally managed to sort the problem with Office 2003.
Just to say, that my problems always seem to stem from when I have gone onto the Microsoft site and downloaded an update, soon after everything seems to go pear-shaped, this is apart from the normal windows security updates of course.
I’m no computer expert but if you’ll take my advice I suggest you don’t update any drivers or any of your software, especially if everything is working alright.
That is just my opinion and I pass it on for what it is worth,
Cheers, and thanks for all the help especially Father Christmas.
