Hi,

I am planning on going out with some friends tommorow night to celebrate xmas/coming back from uni. Unfortunatly, I just found out one of them still has no official forms of ID - only an out of date citizencard (which says "turns 18 on...")

Any ideas where we could go, somewhere that will accept citizencard?

Thanks :)

Alex

The Earl down on Queens Road/Bramall Lane accepts all forms of PASS-accredited proof of age ID. this includes Citizencard, Portman card etc etc

Would think most places accept citizencard as a form of ID.

I've been away from the UK for a long time. What is a 'citizen card'?

Its a form of "official" ID, has your photo & date of birth etc on it.

Under the Pub watch scheme the only forms of id allowed to be used is 1 of the following:

1:Driving license
2:Passport
3:Warrant card(police force)

Other forms of id can be used at the managements discretion. But all forms of ID must carry a Photo which is of you and no one else, your date of birth and done by an approved ID card supplyer(usually comes with a watermark).
