Hi All,

Im a 25 year old women that moved to sheffield 2 years ago and is finding it hard to make some friends :( any body got any tips on how to meet new people? I cant seem to find any clubs/classes around that would intrest me. I want to meet new people for nights out and girly shopping days :) My partner has a lot of friends in sheffield which means if i even go on a night out it with a bunch of men!! lol I have been on a few nights out with work and sheffield seems like a good night out, i just needs some friends of my own here to enjoy it a little more.

I know a few people might read this and think its very sad to put out this post but i cant think of many other ways to meet new people.

Do you have any kids?? I'm a righthand mum for Netmums and when I moved here in October, I got to make some lovely friends through Netmums.
I'm 25 too and moved here from Newcastle. We live in mosborough. I have two girls 4 and 15 weeks.
It is hard especially as my patner was born n raised here so he has lots of friends and seems to know everyone!

Thank you very much for your reply. I dont have any children as of yet and not planning on any for awhile lol I have had a few replies about net4mums, sound like a really good meeting place for mums but as im not one im a bit stuck lol
