On Sunday 29th May Whirlow Hall Farm’s sheep will be showcasing their summer collections as they lose their winter coats at the Sheep Shearing Open Day on the farm.
Whirlow Hall Farm is opening its gates to allow visitors to learn more about sheep shearing and the production of wool in this fun family day out. There will be donkey rides, the ever popular Whirlow barbeque, spinning and weaving demonstrations, free crafts for the children and the rare opportunity to see the sheep losing their winter coats on the farm.
If you are looking for a fun family day out with an educational twist then this is it – adults £2.50, children £3.00
All the proceeds will be used to help the charity in their work with the children of South Yorkshire.
